What This Site Is Not

There is little information that the average lottery player would find of value. The statistics we collect are by and large countable numbers audited by professionals collected and published by us. We primarily track information on lottery sales, prizes and net profit to government, advertising budgets and game design--both for TLF Publications' annual books (such as La Fleur's World Lottery Almanac) and our monthly magazine (La Fleur's Magazine).

Program Summary

The theme for La Fleur’s 2012 Lottery Symposium is ;—Internet + Interactive + Intrastate. In Brave New World, a novel written by Aldous Huxley, the author anticipates how scientific discoveries will change society in the future. At La Fleur’s Symposium, our speakers will discuss how iGaming will transform the lottery landscape. Thanks to the recent Department of Justice ruling that toppled a prohibition of Internet lotteries, the U.S. lottery industry is now playing catch up with the rest of the lottery world to go online. The changes are sweeping. Learn the Do’s and Don’ts of Marketing Online Lotteries. Hear the Hard Lessons that have tripped up other lottery pioneers in the Brave New World of iLotteries. Get a legal perspective on the DOJ ruling and what might happen under a federal regime.  Take the “industry’s pulse” as U.S lottery directors discuss  their marketing and regulatory concerns in opening up a new channel to sell lottery tickets.

We would like to thank the following: D.C. Lottery & Charitable Games Board (co-host of the symposium as well as our Dual Program Sponsor (GTECH Corporation) and our Program Sponsors (INTRALOT, Inc., NeoGames, Pollard Banknote and Scientific Games).
